Experience the perfect balance of surgical precision and heavy-duty protection with our TIG Ultra Welding Gauntlet in classic Brown. Specifically engineered for TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, these gloves are designed for professionals who refuse to sacrifice "feel" for safety.
Unlike bulky MIG gloves, the TIG Ultra utilises high-grade, split-grain goatskin leather. This provides the extreme dexterity required to feed thin filler rods smoothly while maintaining a robust barrier against ambient heat and sparks.
Superior Dexterity: The supple goatskin leather allows for a "second-skin" feel, essential for intricate TIG welds and torch control.
Extended Protection: Features an extra-long cowhide cuff to protect your forearms from UV radiation and stray spatters.
Heat Resistance: Reinforced thumb crotch and aramid stitching ensure the glove holds up under high temperatures without seam failure.
Ergonomic Fit: The "keystone thumb" design follows the natural contour of your hand, reducing hand fatigue during long shifts.
Unlined Palm: Maximises tactile feedback, allowing you to feel every movement of the wire.

The "Dry-Only" Rule: Leather becomes brittle if soaked and dried quickly. If your gauntlets get wet, let them air dry slowly away from direct heat sources.
Dedicated Use: Avoid using your TIG gauntlets for heavy material handling or grinding. This preserves the thin leather on the fingertips for precise welding work.
Storage: Store them flat. Folding or scrunching leather gauntlets can create permanent creases that lead to premature cracking.
Q: Can I use these for MIG welding?
A: While they provide excellent heat resistance, TIG gloves are thinner than MIG gloves. For high-amperage MIG welding where spatter is heavy, we recommend a thicker, fully lined cowhide glove.
Q: Are these gloves fireproof?
A: They are fire-resistant. The leather and aramid stitching are designed to resist ignition and charring, but they will eventually degrade if held directly against a high-temperature arc or molten pool.
Q: How do I find my size?
A: Measure the circumference of your palm just below the knuckles. Our TIG Ultras are true-to-fit, but if you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for better airflow and heat dissipation.
